On June 15th, EverReady Band will be hosting an exciting performance opportunity for our young brass musicians from across the region at Sunderland’s premier live music venue, The Fire Station.
The day will involve a mixture of full band rehearsal, sectional workshops and a performance. Sectionals will be run by the band’s experienced soloists which include tutors from Durham Music Service. This will culminate in a performance at 3pm led by renowned Brass Band conductor Mareika Gray, Musical Director of the National Children’s Brass Band of Great Britain.
All young brass players (cornet, trumpet, tenor horn, french horn, baritone, euphonium, trombone, tuba), from years 6+, and working from Grade 3+ are invited to join us for a day of making music together.
